Telephone Service Manager

General Information

Pacific Service CU is located in the Walnut Creek Executive Park about 25 miles east of San Francisco in Walnut Creek, California.  We are a full-service credit union offering its members a variety of savings and loans products.

We hire in the following departments: telephone services, branch operations, credit card operations, consumer lending, collections, real estate lending, information systems, marketing, human resources, administration and accounting. We are always looking for energetic and enthusiastic people who want to work as part of a team with excellent people skills and a great attitude. We offer full- and part-time positions. Employees work Monday through Friday, generally 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with some alternate work schedules.

Employment Requirements

The employment process starts with the submission of a resume. All qualified applicants must complete an employment application. Pacific Service CU has determined that pre-employment testing using standardized tests makes a significant contribution to fair, valid, consistent and objective selection and placement. Applicants may be required to take a variety of tests, including aptitude or specific skill tests as part of our employment process. Pacific Service CU is a drug-free employer. If employment is offered, the applicant must pass a drug screen test.  Since we are a financial institution and maintain confidential member data throughout our offices, all applicants must be bondable and also pass a credit screen and criminal background check.

Telephone Service Manager
The Telephone Service Manager is responsible for training, coaching and developing staff on all credit union products and services and quality telephone techniques to ensure a high level of consistency in responses provided.  This position is also responsible for organizing, coordinating and supervising the credit union’s telephone center service functions ensuring prompt, professional, and accurate response to member calls.  This position is a working supervisor position responsible for responding to calls as a Call Center Representative and as the Manager of the team.  Minimum 3 years of related supervisory experience, preferably at a credit union or financial institution, required. 

Compensation:
Salary range: $56,900 - $81,300, plus annual bonus of 0-16 percent based on achievement of organizational goals.
