High-yield dividends: To qualify for the high-yield dividend rates associated with Stack Checking and Stack savings, the account holder must satisfy all monthly activity requirements. Dividends will not be paid retroactively for months in which monthly qualification requirements were not met. Tier 1: Requirements include receipt of one or more qualifying government or payroll direct deposits totaling at least $2,500 per calendar month and completion of at least 5 qualifying purchase transactions using a Pacific Service CU debit card and/or Pacific Service CU Visa credit card during the same calendar month. If the requirements to earn dividends are not met, dividends will be paid at the standard dividend rate in effect for the account during that month and at the applicable tier. Tier 2: Requirements include receipt of one or more qualifying government or payroll direct deposits totaling at least $5,000 per calendar month and completion of at least 10 qualifying purchase transactions using a Pacific Service CU debit card and/or Pacific Service CU Visa credit card during the same calendar month. If the requirements to earn dividends are not met, dividends will be paid at the standard dividend rate in effect for the account during that month and at the applicable tier. The applicable dividend rates and APYs paid based on meeting requirements for Tier 1 or Tier 2 are available on the website.
Only Pacific Service CU debit card and/or Pacific Service CU Visa credit card purchase transactions that have posted during the same calendar month are counted toward qualification. Transactions that are pending, canceled, reversed, disputed, or that post in a different calendar month do not count. Direct deposit transactions must also post within the applicable calendar month to qualify.
Dividend rates for Stack Checking and Stack Savings are variable and may change at any time without notice. Dividends are calculated based on the daily balance method, which applies a daily periodic rate to the balance in the account each day. Dividends will be compounded monthly and will be credited monthly. For these accounts, the dividend period is monthly. For example, the beginning date of the first dividend period of the calendar year is January 1, and the ending date of such dividend period is January 31. All other dividend periods follow this same pattern of dates. The dividend declaration date is the ending date of a dividend period, and for this example is January 31. Dividends will begin to accrue on the business day you deposit non-cash items (e.g., checks) to your account if deposited before the close of business. If you close your Stack account(s) before dividends are credited, you will not receive the accrued dividends. No minimum balance is required to earn dividends so long as the minimum requirements for high-yield rates above are met, although a minimum balance of $5.00 must be maintained in the primary savings account to retain membership. APY on Stack Checking and Stack Savings will be applied in the following month in which qualification requirements are met.
