Avoiding Foreclosure

Pacific Service Credit Union is here to help you avoid foreclosure and remain in your home.

We understand that the current economic environment is causing financial hardships for many people, including some of our members. If you are having trouble making payments on your home equity loan, home equity line of credit or first mortgage, we may be able to help.

Please consider all of your options before risking the possible loss of your home to foreclosure. There are numerous alternatives available.

If you have a first or second mortgage loan with us, you may be eligible for a loan term modification. To determine the best possible way to assist you, we will review your financial situation. In order to do so, please complete the Financial Worksheet and fax to (925) 609-3225. After this information is received and reviewed we will contact you.

For more information, call a loan representative at (888) 858-6878, Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.

The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) offers counseling for homeowners whose mortgage loans have become delinquent. This counseling might help you avoid foreclosure. You can also reach HUD at (800) 569-4287 or (800) 877-8339 (TTY).
