Overdraft protection allows funds to be transferred from a designated credit union account to pay otherwise rejected items. This is a free service.
Courtesy pay allows your account to go negative in order to pay otherwise rejected items. There is a fee for this service, but we do not return the item to the merchant or biller or reject your point-of-sale purchase with the merchant. This service automatically covers checks, bill payments and electronic payments. If you would like to cover ATM and debit card transactions you must opt-in. Simply login to online or mobile banking and select Overdraft Protection from the dropdown menu, then select Courtesy Pay to enroll.

Stack Checking and Stack Savings: Subject to all terms, conditions, and eligibility requirements applicable to membership and account ownership. Visit www.pacificservice.org for complete membership eligibility, product details, and current rates. Some restrictions apply. Membership requires the opening of a primary savings account with a minimum balance of $5.00. Final checking account establishment and Visa debit card are subject to approval through ChexSystems®. Minimum age to open a checking account is 13. Members under age 18 require a joint owner 18 or older. ATM fee reimbursement limited to $3 per transaction and $15 per month. All rates, annual percentage yields (APYs), terms, and account features are accurate as of January 2, 2026, and are subject to change at any time without prior notice. Except as otherwise provided herein, the Credit Union reserves the right to change any term of the Stack checking or savings accounts as well as termination of all such accounts. This includes, without limitation, making changes to the accounts and related benefits, fees, rates, balance and rate computation methods, as well as discontinuing or replacing such accounts and services at the Credit Union’s discretion, and making changes to further clarify the terms of products and services.
High-yield dividends: To qualify for the high-yield dividend rates associated with Stack checking and Stack savings, the account holder must satisfy all monthly activity requirements. Feature 1: Requirements include receipt of one or more qualifying government or payroll direct deposits totaling at least $2,500 per calendar month and completion of at least 10 qualifying debit card purchase transactions during the same calendar month. If the requirements to earn dividends are not met, dividends will be paid at the standard dividend rate in effect for the account during that month and at the applicable tier. Feature 2: Requirements include receipt of one or more qualifying government or payroll direct deposits totaling at least $5,000 per calendar month and completion of at least 15 qualifying debit card purchase transactions during the same calendar month. If all requirements are not met for a given month, dividends will be paid at the closest qualifying feature rate. Dividends will not be paid retroactively for months in which monthly qualification requirements were not met.
Only debit card purchases that have posted to the account during the same calendar month are counted toward qualification. Transactions that are pending, canceled, reversed, disputed, or that post in a different calendar month do not count. Direct deposit transactions must also post within the applicable calendar month to qualify.
Dividend rates for Stack checking and Stack savings are variable and may change at any time without notice. Dividends are calculated based on the daily balance method, which applies a daily periodic rate to the balance in the account each day. Dividends will be compounded monthly and will be credited monthly. For these accounts, the dividend period is monthly. For example, the beginning date of the first dividend period of the calendar year is January 1, and the ending date of such dividend period is January 31. All other dividend periods follow this same pattern of dates. The dividend declaration date is the ending date of a dividend period, and for this example is January 31. Dividends will begin to accrue on the business day you deposit non-cash items (e.g., checks) to your account if deposited before the close of business. If you close your Stack account(s) before dividends are credited, you will receive the accrued dividends. No minimum balance is required to earn dividends so long as the minimum requirements for high-yield rates above are met, although a minimum balance of $5.00 must be maintained in the primary savings account to retain membership.
*Cash back reward: To qualify for cash back rewards, a qualifying direct deposit of at least $500 each calendar month is required. When the requirement is met, 1% cash back will be earned on eligible debit card purchases, up to a maximum of $10 per month and $120 per calendar year. Cash back is calculated on posted debit card purchase transactions only. Transactions that are pending, reversed, canceled, disputed, or posted in a different month do not qualify. Cash back rewards will be deposited to the accountholder’s Stack checking account on the first business day of the following month. If the qualification requirements are not met for any month, cash back will not be earned for that month. Cash back rewards are not considered dividends and do not increase the stated APY for either account.
Tip Yourself: The Tip Yourself feature is optional and is available only on Stack checking and savings accounts. With each debit card purchase, the difference between that purchase amount and the next closest whole dollar amount greater than the transaction will be automatically transferred to the Stack savings account. Tip transfers are based solely on qualifying point-of-sale debit card transactions. ATM withdrawals, cash advances, refund transactions, and card-not-present transactions do not qualify. Transfers are processed on the business day following the date the eligible debit card transaction posts. Transfers will not occur on any day in which the checking account has a zero or negative available balance at the time the transfer is scheduled. If a qualifying purchase is subsequently returned or reversed, the associated transfer to the savings account will not be reversed. You must opt in to this service by logging in to online or mobile banking or calling a member service representative. Joint account holders are automatically enrolled in Tip Yourself savings unless the primary account holder requests otherwise. Additional limitations may apply.
Additional Benefits: With Stack checking, you will also receive the following additional benefits: (1) no NSF fees will be charged for transactions on the Stack checking account; (2) free cashier’s checks; (3) free box of logo checks; (4) reimbursement of ATM fees charged to your Stack checking account on a monthly basis up to $15; and (5) early direct deposit service provides you with early access to your direct deposit up to two days earlier than the scheduled date of your direct deposit, provided that you are responsible for reimbursement of the Credit Union if the direct deposit is not transferred by the payor for any reason.
